I have heard many male colleagues saying that women are bad at driving cars, and being adamant about their opinions on this subject. Recently, a dear friend went to a car driving class for the second time in over 10 years, but has been having a tough time convincing her dad to let her use the car. He claims that her driving is not up to real-life skills yet and refuses to be convinced.
I have heard the same stories over and over again from many women. The only difference being that it was the husband, or son, or father like in the above story. I wonder that if there ever was a survey from a sample size, of how many women learned driving because of their dads/ husbands/ fathers and how many didn’t – then I’m pretty sure that the percentage would be less than 5.
I wonder how we can reverse the ratio….
